UMD President Darryll J. Pines informed the University of Maryland community on July 6 that Jackie Lewis, vice president for university relations, will be leaving her role at Maryland to pursue a new opportunity as vice chancellor for advancement at the University of Missouri. Lewis spent three years leading UMD’s fundraising efforts.
She will be replaced by Brodie Remington, who served Maryland in the same role from 1999 to 2012. "Brodie is a familiar and respected colleague to many of us at the University of Maryland," Pines noted. "He executed the Great Expectations $1 billion campaign and helped establish the University of Maryland College Park Foundation."
The University of Maryland community is grateful to Jackie Lewis for her dedicated service. For additional information on the announcement, please click here.
