Terps,
I hope this note finds you healthy and safe. While we cannot gather in person, our Terp community remains strong. The Alumni Association staff is here – remotely, of course – to serve you. We are working hard to provide original programming and engagement opportunities that are relevant to you right now, both personally and professionally. We will strive to provide insights, information and inspiration to you during this unprecedented time. |
We want to hear from you. Tell us your stories. Ask us your questions. Share your expertise with fellow alumni and students. |
In time, we will again gather in person on campus and around the country. Until then, stay connected with us and fellow Terps online through our webinars, trivia contests, mentorship programs, book clubs, social media outlets and more. |
Stay safe, and Go Terps! |

USM Seeks Health-Care Alums to Assist During Crisis
The state of Maryland urgently needs more health-care workers to respond to the coronavirus pandemic. Can you help? The University System of Maryland (USM) is calling on alumni who are retired or lapsed in the medical field or are qualified students to consider supporting the effort. Gov. Larry Hogan has created new categories of licensing, available here. If you need more information or assistance with the process, contact Joann Boughman, USM senior vice chancellor for academic and student affairs, at jboughman@usmd.edu.
