A Celebration of Terps: Featuring the Maryland Awards More than 260 alumni and friends came out to recognize and celebrate seven outstanding awardees at A Celebration of Terps: Featuring the Maryland Awards on April 26. This event held at the Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center was filled with excitement, inspiration and motivation to continue the lifelong pride of being a Terp. This annual celebration, the Alumni Association’s marquee event in the D.C. metro area, recognizes some of our brightest and boldest Terps, and bestows a few of the university’s highest honors.
