These informative sessions will include presentations from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, Office of Student Financial Aid, and the Graduate School. You will walk away with information on how to be a competitive applicant for undergraduate or graduate admissions and how to apply to the University of Maryland. Additionally, there will be a chance to learn about the many academic programs UMD has to offer by hearing directly from different schools & colleges.

Hear from Maggie Doran '16 from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions as she discusses what to do in middle school and high school to be a competitive college applicant. She will also walk through how to apply to the University of Maryland using the Common Application and/or the new StandOut Admissions Network . Maggie will offer tips on how to stand out on your application and walk through the lastest updates to the UMD admissions process.

Hear from Malina Heng '06 from the Office of Student Financial Aid to learn how to pay for your student's future education at the University of Maryland. Malina will cover financial aid terminology and types of aid, the financial aid rewarding cycle, and information on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
