Speaker Bios

Monica Dillingham '00

Monica is the Chief Technology Officer for the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO). She has been a technology professional for over 20 years. Previous to NACUBO, Monica was a Senior Technology Consultant in the government sector for both the General Services Administration (GSA) and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).

Monica is a 2019 Association Tech All-Star award recipient by DCA Live. She is an active member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), Women in Technology (WIT), and the Project Management Institute (PMI). She is a former WIT Vice-Chair for the Girls in Technology Program and former DC Stem Ambassador and Grace Hopper Scholarship committee volunteer. Monica is passionate about promoting technology careers for more women of color and empowering girls to become innovators in STEM fields.

Monica holds a B.S. in Information Systems Management and an M.S. in Technology Management from the University of Maryland University College.

Sarbari Gupta '87
Dr. Sarbari Gupta is the Founder and CEO of Electrosoft, a provider of technology-based services and solutions with a special focus on cybersecurity. She has been active in the information security industry for over twenty years specializing in cybersecurity, digital identity and access management and cloud security. She holds PhD, MS and B.Tech degrees in Electrical Engineering and CISSP and CISA certifications. Dr. Gupta is a frequent speaker at industry conferences on cybersecurity topics and has authored over forty technical papers/presentations on leading edge topics and holds four patents in areas of cryptography. She has received many accolades, including Distinguished Alumnus Award from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur; NOVA/PSC GovCon Executive of the Year under $75M; FedHealthIT Women in Leadership Impact Award; U.S. Women’s Chamber of Commerce’s Stellar Award; Silver Stevie® Award for Female Executive of the Year and the Washington Business Journal (WBJ) Minority Business Leader Award. Dr. Gupta spends many hours pursuing a personal passion: promoting STEM education for women and underrepresented communities.

Joty Paparello, the Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer with over 20 years of experience in the design and execution of Talent Strategy directly impacting company performance and business growth. A distinguished record of achievement in implementing innovative, culture-rich talent acquisition/talent management programs to achieve strategic objectives.

Joty is the executive sponsor for the At the Table Women’s Networking Group at Microstrategy.  At the Table is an organized, cross-functional network for wome​n at MicroStrategy that ​​provides members with opportunities for professional development, networking, and support​ through learning and social events. ​​​​At the Table supports women at MicroStrategy and in our customer workplaces and community. Joty holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Maryland.
