The University of Maryland is a cornerstone for quantum research and development and is a discovery zone with decades of experience advancing a field that will help define our future. Join us at the Terp-owned restaurant and event space, The Hall CP for a night of networking and discussion with university leaders including the Quantum Startup Foundry, Dr. Steven Rolston, Chair of the Department of Physics and a Fellow of the Joint Quantum Institute and Dr. Gretchen Campbell, Co-Director of the Joint Quantum Institute. Dr. Rolston and Dr. Campbell will discuss:

  • What is quantum and why is it relevant? 
  • How will quantum impact the greater society?
  • What is Maryland's role in the quantum ecosystem?
