On June 14, 2007, New York area alumni and friends gathered at The Americas Society—Council of the Americas for Terps Take Manhattan. The networking event included cocktails and heavy hors d’oeuvres and featured special appearances by sportscasters Bonnie Bernstein ’92 and Len Elmore ’78, former Terp and NBA basketball player Albert King ’81 and Maryland men’s basketball coach Gary Williams ’68.
