activities, demonstrations, exhibits,
performances and other events offer
the community a glimpse into what makes
Maryland a special place. The
Alumni Association will host a variety
of activities at the Samuel
Riggs IV Alumni Center, including:
Emeriti Brunch
9–10:30 a.m.
Chaney Library and Edlavitch-Tyser Conference
Room, Riggs Alumni Center
Alumni who graduated in 1957 and earlier
will be invited back to campus so that
they can get a bird’s eyes view
of the wonderful advancement of their
campus. The day will start with a continental
breakfast and networking session.

Terrapins Live!

A live and interactive display that
includes terrapins from freshly hatched
to mature adult. Guests will learn about
the terrapins habitat and how that they
can find these interesting reptiles
in their own backyard!
Crafts for Future Terps

Young children can create their own
Terrapin spirit on the Garden Terrace
with Maryland-themed craft activities
designed just for them.
Young Alumni BBQ
1:30–3:30 p.m.
Moxley Gardens, Riggs Alumni Center
Join fellow graduates from 1998 to
2007 in the Riggs Alumni Center’s
Moxley Gardens to reminisce about old
times and marvel at the new additions
to campus. Enjoy music, complimentary
food, refreshments and beer, and a special
